Facilities

All rooms come with your own modern ensuite bathroom and are fully furnished, ready for you to move straight in. You’ll have a comfy double bed, study desk, large wardrobe, full length mirror, plenty of smart storage and lots of well-placed plug sockets. Your new room has been designed with student life in mind, so you’ll have everything to need to make the most of student life in Porto.

If you’re looking to make friends, our two large courtyards and common spaces will provide you with plenty of opportunities to socialise. We run a year-long events calendar exclusively for our residents, so you’ll never be short of something to do. There is also a market-style food court on campus, so you can grab something to eat in between lectures or relax with friends in the evenings.

For the more studious amongst you, you’ll love our calming and inspiring study spaces, perfect for group projects or individual study time and our super-fast WiFi is accessible anywhere in the building so you can study, relax or socialise everywhere.

Built on the steep banks of Douro, Portugal’s northern city is always vibrant and packed full of students! If you’re studying in Porto then Nido Porto could be the perfect place to base yourself. Just minutes from shops, bars and cafes and just a short bus ride into central Porto, it’s the perfect place for student life.

You’re close to several of the major colleges and universities in the city, including:

Rua do Amial

Just a 5-minute walk from Nido Porto is Rua do Amial a quaint road with lots of little shops, cafes and bakeries, plus a little pharmacy so you can pick up all the essentials on your way back from lectures.

Situated in the oldest shopping area of Porto, Rua de Santa Catarina, yet offering a range of modern clothes shops, books shops and eateries, the Viacatarina is just 30 minutes on the bus from Nido Porto.
